So how have your holidays been? I've had an extremely tiring yet fulfilling one with 2 camps, a lot of mugging and much shopping. But I'm not doing a whole post about my holidays today, I'm focusing on one camp in particular, my church camp :-)
So basically, my friend (claire) and I volunteered to be helpers for this church camp involving the secondary 1s & 2s :-)
Day 1:
Today was the first day of camp and the leaders and helpers had to get there by 9am, one hour before the campers to discuss. I had problems waking up (as usual) I slept at 2am the previous night and I woke at 7:30am… I'll let you do the calculations.
The first of activity of the day was making popsicles and I just went around making sure no one (brandon) injured themselves with the knifes (again) and catching up with many more.
The first day was spent bonding and getting to know my group mates. The only rzoners (campers) I knew in my group were kristen and ashley (cuz same batch) and asher (insta). I had no idea who the rest were besides the 2 leaders Christine and Isaac.
The first half of the day was spent playing many ice breakers such as wacko so everyone could warm up a bit and lets just say from that, you could clearly see who all the blur ones were :P
Meal time was right after and it was quite memorable cause of some mischievous campers…

After dinner,everyone got ready to set out for East Coast Park for the night games :-)
I was in charge of the drunken sailor station with Bryan and we were right next to the smash the water mellon station tended by Chen Min and Reuben. It was funny to see how each team completed their missions.

After all the teams finished, the four of us packed up and headed back to the gathering area where everyone was playing Pictionary or something. While waiting for the bus, me and my friends/ campers played charades on Shu Ning's phone. The charades game was established in the previous church camp: HOF camp and I decided to introduce it to even more people so they could join in the fun they were missing out!
Side note: If you download the app, play "act it out" and "hits of today" those are the most enjoyable ones.

The bus journey was spent just singing until I fell asleep. (Thank God the leaders and everyone were too tired to take photos of anyone.)
We finally got back, bathed at about 12am, 1am+ for the helpers and leaders and went to sleep. But first, let us take an after shower selfi. Oh gosh look how tired I was ><
Day 2:
Day 2 was spent getting ready for the performance/ skit on the last day for HOF. I was in the props team with claire, Mei Lin and other campers. This is me, Claire and Natalie trying to scare the others but failing miserably.
After props, it was time for KAYAKING! Well, for the campers haha Claire and I did not want to get wet/ a tan line. However, we had a problem, cause the bus uncle left before we could get ready… and we ended up waiting two hours for him… But thankfully the leaders managed to handle everyone by making up last minute games.
After the bus came back, we set out. We played more charades on the bus and took many selfis with people who fell asleep on the bus.
They played football later and I was apparently the ball magnet cause I kept getting hit :-( Donovan please never play football. Haha kidding. Once the rzoners came back from their kayaking, we distributed more food and took more selfis.
No one took anymore photos on the way back while on the bus cause mostly everyone was sleeping, including me. But I slept curled up incase of anything. (Much paranoid I know)
In the night, there was a night walk in stored but Me and Claire decide to stay back and help Mei Lin to complete more props for the next day. It was sad I couldn't go but oh well! We managed to finish a lot of work! And also bathe before most of them came back :-)

After the night walk, I could see everyone was already dead to the world but the leaders had something installed for them *que evil laugh* night activities. Basically, they would be woken at 2am to play some games for half an hour. But you see, it's not "fun" when you spent the whole day kayaking, painting and tracking so I was curious to how they would have reacted. I stayed up till 2am watching Dan is not on fire cause I did not want to be waken up from my slumber :P
Everyones faces when we gathered them were priceless. The funniest thing was asher thought it was morning and went to brush his teeth so Nigel had to get him out of the toilet. (many more funny asher moments to come)
After the night games ended, most of the girls in my room couldn't sleep and I was one of them so I spent the next half an hour talking and laughing (not to silently) with claire and kristen.
Day 3: (Last Day)
Please excuse my awkward glasses, they got smacked and broken by Claire accidentally :-( All cause I wanted a hug T^T
The last day was mostly spent getting ready for the performance and finish painting the props. Afterwards, we had a 2hour rest time and thats where shit went down :D Most people went to sleep (brandon) and they woke up with drawings on them ^___^ eh… excuse you not all by me but by most of the "wake" people. *evil laugh*

Well, the camp has ended and I would like to thank Joanne for giving me this opportunity to help out. Haha but I'd like to apologise too cause sometimes I'll forget I'm a helper and go crazy with the rzoners too! But still, I had a great time with all of y'all.
My district, who was always so funny and making me pumped up although I was so tired, we did not win, but y'all are winners to me ^____^
